Δωδώνα in Epirus, site of an oracle of Zeus. fragg. 57—60 appear to be from a hymn to Zeus of Dodona. cf. Ephoros, FGH 70F 119: τριποδηφορεῖν (sc. τοὺς Βοιωτοὺς) εἰς Δωδώνην, Strabo, 7. 7. 10: οἱ τραγικοί τε καὶ Πίνδαρος Θεσπρωτίδα εἰρήκασι τὴν Δωδώνην· ὕστερον δὲ ὑπὸ Μολοττοῖς ἐγένετο fr. 60.
